be aware that there are other areas of the town besides the village of Cooperstown. many of the zoning restrictions around canadarago lake have
legislated all residents into non-compliance because we do not have the large lots and big money like the residents around Otsego lake.
been a summer resident for 45 yrs. and it seems that the town is totally consumed by baseball shops etc. there are visitors who would like to be
able to browse, purchase items from other types of little shops that don't have to do with baseball. many a time I've heard that all there is in this
town is baseball, there's no variety of shops. It'd be nice tosee the movie theater re open..a step back in time for those who have never been in
an old movie theater (the bldg. has history). maybe some small antiques shops or an old fashion ice cream parlor? the town is so rich in history,
it would be nice to see that reflected in the town. thank you.
Believe that "Service Trade Establishments" should have many more restrictions regarding location and maintenance of facilities, especially when
sited in "residential" areas
besides an ice skating rink, I think some development should occur but you don't want to take away from the town's beauty, then
you'll end up
with another Oneonta. The town should have recreation for winter tourism. You also don't want to have apartment buildings or condos, then it's
going to start to turn into the Bronx or Yonkers, please that's what I am trying to get away from. The town is a jewel. I've never seen a town like
this. Yes new stores that are viable for town residents are necessary but don't go crazy, you'llegret it. I lived in Somers, NY for over 30 years
and we started out with one traffic light and about 10,000 residents. Now it's over 30,000 and about ten traffic lights. It takes twenty minutes to
just get to another town right next to you with all of the traffic. And most certainly you would want to keep certain spaces protected to keep the
beauty of the town.

Better control of traffic on route 26N and town roads. slow down speed.
Commercial approved areas along state highways with design approval. Reasonable acreage requirement for new homes., Too much acreage is
not affordable for many to build homes, pay taxes and upkeep.
Concerned about hunting allowed in residential areas. Lots of people out walking, etc during hunting season. We feel the need to limit outside
activity since bullets travel long distances out of sightline of hunters.
Control additional power lines to preserve scenic viewsheds and critical environmental sites. Encourage wind farms. Discourage trailer homes.
